Degree in Management, Finance, and International Business: A Milestone of Study and Passion

July 17, 2024, was a special day for me: I graduated with a Master’s degree in Management, Finance, and International Business from the University of Bergamo.

This milestone marks the culmination of a journey that began in October 2020, right after I earned my first degree in Economics in April of the same year.

Balancing Studies, Work, and Passion

From the outset, I chose to pursue part-time studies, a decision that allowed me to balance my education with other important passions and commitments in my life: work, travel, and, of course, training. I’ve always believed that education is a process that extends beyond academic learning, enriched by experiences, the people we meet, and the opportunities for growth we embrace along the way. Looking back, I am very satisfied with my decision, as it enabled me to grow on multiple levels.

Discovering a Passion for Communication and Marketing

Throughout this academic journey, I discovered a strong inclination towards communication and marketing, fields that piqued my interest and which I decided to explore further in my thesis. The final project was titled “Athlete branding via Instagram: analysis of the self-presentation of a sample of Italian track and field athletes,” and it focused on how athletes use Instagram to build and communicate their personal brand. It was an exciting project that allowed me to combine my passion for sports with the skills I developed in digital marketing.

A Lifelong Commitment to Learning

Although this academic chapter has concluded, my desire to keep learning does not stop here. I’ve always believed that the more one studies, the more one realizes how much there is still to learn and discover. For now, I’ve decided to focus on my career and apply what I’ve learned, but I don’t rule out returning to school in the future, perhaps to delve deeper into the world of sports management, a field that fascinates me and could represent the next step in my professional development.

Looking Forward to New Opportunities

This achievement is not just the end of a journey but the beginning of new opportunities. I’m excited about what the future holds and ready to apply everything I’ve learned over these years.
