Speed Meets Elegance: Life in Motion

A short while ago, I had the honor and pleasure of taking part in a photo shoot and interview for Fotoshoe magazine. The project, titled “You just have to run… but with style” reflects both my identity as an athlete and my passion for fashion and communication.

During the interview, I spoke about my journey—how I discovered athletics at the age of 15, and how sprinting has since become the core of both my sporting and personal life. Competing in the 200 and 400 meters has brought me incredible opportunities, including national titles and international competitions. Today, I divide my time between Italy and Spain, balancing training with my professional path in communication and marketing.

I talked about the thoughts and feelings that run through my mind during the most intense moments of a race: when I am positioned on the starting blocks. Just before the signal, I reset completely and tell myself: “Ok, that’s enough. Forget everything. Now you just have to run.” In that instant, all my attention is focused on the starting gun. That sound, which so often suggests interruption or even destruction, for me represents the opposite: it unleashes life, energy, and the desire to move forward, chasing an imaginary finish line—even though, in reality, the track never truly ends.

What fascinates me most is the connection between sport and fashion. I see fashion as a language—clean, essential, and elegant. Performance and aesthetics are not separate worlds; they can coexist and enhance one another. Discipline, attention to detail, body expression, and identity belong equally to both.

My style reflects this vision: essential lines, neutral tones, and occasionally a bold accent. I value comfort as much as elegance, because feeling confident in what I wear allows me to perform at my best—not only on the track, but in everyday life as well.

This project was more than a shoot or an interview—it was a way to tell my story through movement, style, and identity.
